Sunday in Englewood

We’re excited to introduce Chicago's first solar-powered community fridge! In partnership with @nicole_taryn of @gettinggrowncollective and Keyante Aytch of Sunbend Solar! Watch the introduction to this revolutionary fridge as they and Love Fridge organizers Manny and Englewood native Eric Hotchkiss talk about our mission, our purpose, and our potential when our community comes together and builds sustainable solutions toward food equity.

This project was supported via a grant from the Young leaders Fund (YLF) at the Chicago Community Trust. We look forward to learning from this site and others to create a sustainable system for the fridges.
